Hierarchical Part Structure ("Component Tree")
Single Source of Truth: Parts are now captured as deep hierarchies of components (e.g., Final Part → Assembly → Child Component), allowing engineering and costing to speak the exact same language.
Automatic Cost Roll-up: Costs now "roll up" instantly from individual components to the final assembly. Change a sub-component's material, and the total price updates automatically.
Design Reuse Library: Engineers can now "drag and drop" proven components (like standard bolts or connectors) from a shared library, eliminating redundant work.
Intelligent "Glass Box" Capabilities
Ingest & Learn (Use Case 105): The system doesn't just import Excel; it learns your logic. Upload a legacy sheet, and CostEngine detects your formulas ("If Dia > 50, use Machine B") and saves them as reusable rules.
Decision Intelligence (Use Case 910): Transformed "Out of Scope" analytics into a dedicated module for identifying high-cost operations, tracking supplier trends, and simulating margin sensitivity.

Stakeholder Value Map: Added a dedicated Value Proposition Page showing exactly how CostEngine solves pain points for Owners, Sales, and Engineers.
